Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa says that he is not happy with the current state of Cricket in the country.
“Current state of cricket is not satisfactory. I have spoken to the cricket board on this. However, I think it’s not fair to discuss further on this in the middle of a Test Series as it affects the players’ mentality. After the completion of the England tour, we are planning to discuss with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and take some tough decisions.”
The sports minister shared these views while addressing the media at an event in Kalutara yesterday (16).
