The Sri Lankan national anthem was aired at the ongoing Paralympic Games 2020 in Tokyo, Japan, making it the first time ever to do so in an Olympic-related event.
The national anthem was played during the awards ceremony of the Men’s Javelin event today.
Sri Lankan Paralympian Dinesh Priyantha Herath won the gold medal for the event, while he also set a world record, with a record throw of 67.79m.
