A group of local tourists has had a surprise encounter with a wild elephant on a beach in Arugambay last evening (27).
Video footage shows the wild elephant walking towards the beach, inspecting a few vehicles parked facing the beach, and later walking away.
The local tourists who were enjoying the coastal area during sunset were reportedly not injured during the encounter. (NewsWire)
