It has been reported that 27 Safari Jeep drivers have been asked to be placed on quarantine, after they took the Ukrainian tourists on a safari ride at the Yala National Park.
The safari riders complain that this 14 day quarantine rule was not informed to them prior and only after they finished the tours they are being asked by the Army to be taken to quarantine centers.
They also raise a concern that they wouldn’t have taken up these tours if this quarantine process was informed to them prior by the relevant authorities and that their livelihoods will be affected if they are placed on quarantine for 14 days.
