Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake today accused the Speaker of the Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena of leaning towards the ruling party in Parliament.
Responding to a decision announced by the Speaker in Parliament, MP Dissanayake pointed out that the Speaker was violating the rights of the Parliamentarians.
“Despite the Speaker’s chair being placed in the middle between the ruling party and the Opposition, the Speaker is seen seated leaning towards the ruling party”, he said. (NewsWire)
