The current islandwide power outage has disrupted water supply to several parts of Colombo.
The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said water supply has been disrupted to Colombo and suburbs at present.
The power outage has been reported due to a failure in three sub-stations that provide electricity to the National Grid.
The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) said it will take at least take three hours for the complete restoration of the power supply.
The authorities have taken necessary measures to restore the supply of power and water. (NewsWire)
