Kalutara District SJB MP Kumara Welgama says he will not vote for any proposals related to a No-Confidence Motion (NCM) or interim government.
The Parliamentarian has revealed his stance via a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka.
MP Welgama has also said that he will also withdraw his support for any government-related matters until President Gotabaya Rajapaksa remains as the leader of the state.
In the letter, the Kalutara District MP has further suggested 07 measures that could be implemented by the Parliament that will help save the country and its people by removing President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
SJB MP has suggested Parliament should cut all the money allocated for President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and force him to resign.
Speaker of the Parliament Mahinda Yapa Abeywarden has confirmed that he had received a letter by MP Kumara Welgama, voicing his decision to refrain from signing any proposals on a No-Confidence Motion (NCM) or interim government. (NewsWire)
