Since recently with the popularity of video calling applications such as Zoom and Meet and with many around the world working from home it has become a major necessity to have more people engaged over voice or video calls.
This is a great step taken by Whatsapp to Double the number of participants. Currently only 4 participants and with the roll out of the new beta version 8 participants will be able to engage in a group call be it voice or video.
It will be much easier to start a group call rather than sending out invitations codes or meeting codes. All you will have to do is create a group of 8 and hit the call button. So keep your Whatsapp version up-to-date and soon you will see this feature.
