The World Health organization (WHO) has agreed to provide the COVID-19 vaccine to 20% of Sri Lanka’s population.
The Ministry of Health said a special committee has been appointed to study matters related to providing the vaccine.
The decision was taken during a meeting chaired by Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi today, with the participation of State Minister Channa Jayasumana and WHO Sri Lanka representative Dr Razia Pendse. (NewsWire)
