Sri Lankan medical expert Dr. Chandima Jeewandara has warned of possible heart-related complications from even a milder form of COVID-19 infection.
Taking to ‘X’, the Director of the Allergy, Immunology and Cell Biology Unit of Sri Jayewardenepura University shared a recent study conducted in this regard.
“Why you should avoid even the milder form of COVID-19 infection. This is the latest experimental study to show SARS CoV2 infection leading to a failing heart. There are plenty of unknowns with COVID,” he said. (NewsWire)
