Police today arrested a 44-year-old woman from Pelmadulla with more than Rs. 8 million cash in a bag.
Police Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana said that during interrogation arrested person had failed to disclose from where she received the money.
Further investigations will be carried out to find out if the money was connected to any criminal activity, DIG Ajith Rohana added. (NewsWire)
