Women For Freedom was officially launched with the presence of local and foreign delegates at BMICH on 14th October 2022.
Women for Freedom is an organization established to empower women and children, create awareness in society and provide a holistic justice system with emergency shelter for survivors of domestic violence and child survivors of crime.
The organization was initiated under the guidance of former president madam Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga in light of the rapid increase in domestic violence prevalent throughout recent years.
